We keep on dancing tango following the idea that certain structures have predefined rhythms inside. However, it doesn’t mean that we have to keep this idea if we don’t want to. In this lesson, Noelia & Carlitos discuss the importance of knowing the difference between dancing on the beat and dancing on the melody. Sometimes, not being on the beat doesn’t mean that you are not being on music. Dancing on the beat is useful for rhythmical songs, but tango music is much more vast.
